Stephen Shenefield
For me, it’s all about the music and movies… I built my first speaker at age 11, was a radio programmer and announcer during college, enjoyed a number of years working at Lucasfilm’s Skywalker Ranch, and even spent time bringing satellite radio to India and Europe. My association with Boston Acoustics dates to 1990, and in that time I’ve worked on many of Boston’s iconic products – our first home theater speakers with dedicated centers and surrounds, our first outdoor Voyager models, the original Lynnfield Series high end models, our integrated DVD systems, and our extensive radio line. My goal is always the same: to enable a satisfying music and movie experience with straightforward, attractive, class-leading products!

I’ve worked at Boston Acoustics since 1989. As you may have already guessed, I love music and I’m an audio fanatic. And “yes” before you even ask, I really love working for a speaker company. My very first Boston speakers were the A100 Series III’s. They were super BIG and they sounded so amazing. I’ve had the priviledge of working with some great people in various departments over the last 20+ years, including Shipping, Parts & Service, Technical Support, Sales, and Marketing. I now work in the Brand Marketing Group, focussing my attention on all consumer-facing marketing materials and research on consumer products and trends.
